:: Industrial and Innovation Development of Atyrau Oblast This year, implementation of the State Programme for Industrial and Innovative Development in Atyrau Oblast envisages launching of 12 investment projects with the total cost of KZT 11.5 billion and creation of more than 1,000 jobs.
A composite metal plastic pipes production area put into operation a few months ago at the Atyrau Polyethylene Pipe Plant owned by ChevronMunayGas is one of this year’s largest projects within the Kazakhstan Industrialisation Map with a construction cost of KZT 2.4 billion and creation of more than 70 jobs. 11 investment projects out of 13 submitted by the Atyrau Oblast Akimat to the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies within the framework of the Kazakhstan Industrialisation Map were approved for implementation this year. The total cost of the projects is KZT 9.1 billion.
In the first half-year, three construction projects are scheduled for completion in Atyrau Oblast – a sealing products manufacturing area of Novus Sealing Caspian LLP to serve the needs of oil and gas industry, a pump service centre at FlowServe LLP, and a vertical tank production area at Karashungil LLP.
In the second half-year, eight projects with the total cost of KZT 6.1 billion will be implemented, including two projects of Brando LLP as part of the Kazakhstan Industrialisation Map – expansion of a disposable syringes plant and construction of a disposable gloves and IV sets plant.
New facilities to manufacture ceramic bricks, foam concrete, PE pipes, artificial marble, metal tiles, gypsum building materials, plastic windows, doors and stained glass, millworks, etc. have been constructed in recent years.
Implementation of the following construction projects within the Regional Development Programme is currently in progress:
- Construction of a new cinema and concert hall with a total area of 16,000 m2
- Construction of a bathing complex with a total area of 3,200 m2
- Construction of the second pedestrian bridge across the Ural River
- Construction of the First President’s Park
- Complex Atyrau Landscape Gardening Programme for 2011-2020
- Construction of the first integrated petrochemical complex
- Expansion of the waste management, utilisation and treatment complex
- Modernisation of Atyrau Oil Refinery with the construction of benzene and aromatic hydrocarbon extraction complexes
- Construction of a metal plastic pipe plant
- Construction of a rolling mill
- Free direct mailing of 15,000 invitation cards using a professional database
- Mailing of 2,000 invitation cards through specialised print media
- Radio ads broadcasting covering the Central Asian regions during two weeks before the opening of the exhibition
- Outdoor ads in Kazakhstan (banners and billboards)
- Promo actions in Atyrau supermarkets, trade centres and large shops
- PR campaign in CIS special and general printed media
- Internet marketing
- Press conference at the opening ceremony
- Project promotion at large-scale international exhibitions
The Atyrau Build North Caspian Exhibition is organised by Iteca in cooperation with its international partners – ITE Group Plc (UK), GIMA (Germany), EUF A.S.
